Country Manager

Oversee and lead, end-to-end (including sourcing land, filing applications to the relevant authorities - environmental, electricity grid, and local communities, and recruitment and engagement of professional service providers), all "greenfield" project development efforts including any associated logistics, administrative, and other related development activities.

Lead and perform all commercial activities related to the development efforts, including negotiating and contracting with third-party (legal, tax, accounting, etc.) service providers, potential co-development partners of "greenfield" or "brownfield" renewable energy projects, and acquisition of Ready to Build or other advanced stages projects (including management of related DD and CPs).

Supervising the implementation and realization of the project pipeline, its construction, and operation including cooperation with local authorities at all stages (local taxes, social and environmental issues).

Cooperation with the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority regarding auctions and licensing and local electricity grid companies (DSOs and trading companies) for developed and operational projects.

Continually analyze the competitive landscape and environment within the Romanian Renewable Energy field to determine trends and provide market feedback to the company's management

Proactively identify new business development opportunities within the Romanian market

Full-time and exclusive engagement for the company's Romania business.

Ensure the Romanian company compliance with local laws and regulations (accounting, tax, trade, safety, labor etc.).

Provide detailed reporting to the company's management as required from time to time.

Good knowledge of the Romania energy market

Previously experience in a similar role within an energy company

At least 5 years of project management experience in the Energy sector

A natural entrepreneurial spirit, with a demonstrable history of developing business

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in high-intensity, fast-paced environment
