EMEA REGIONAL COST ACCOUNTANT

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Inventory valuations for the EMEA region;

Ensure Inventory is reconciled weekly and monthly in line with Corporate deadlines;

Ensure the integrity of the Inventory sub-ledger is maintained and reconciled to the General Ledger;

Maintain accurate Multi-Currency translation within Inventory;

Ensure standards are loaded accurately and costs are rolled on a timely basis;

Analyse variances and provide accurate inventory valuation and financial statement information to the business;

Support manufacturing operations with financial related margin analysis and issue resolution;

Key business partner in multi-site initiatives and drive process improvements in Inventory valuation analysis and reporting across the EMEA region;

Become a Subject Matter Expert in the Inventory valuation processes and train both Finance and non-Financial personnel to increase the skillset in the region;

Moderate travel will be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated < 10%);

Additional duties as assigned by management;

Minimum professional Accounting qualification;

Experience of 2 years with equivalent industry experience is preferred;

Must be able to work independently and in a team environment;

Receptive to change with a “can do” attitude, Decision Making, Problem Solving Skills;

Must possess excellent organizational, communication (both oral and written English is mandatory and computer skills);

Establish and maintain a strong working relationship within the regional and global organisation;
