Electrical Systems Engineer

Defines all requirements for their systems while taking into account customer contract, bid description, vehicle requirements & standards;

Analysis and evaluation of customer requirement specification;

Collaboration with bt systems engineer to establish and develop concepts, presentations, and specifications;

Examination and clarification of the suppliers bbis (black box information: e.g. Drawings, data sheets, schematics, interface ) with mechanical and electrical engineering;

Execution of review (e.g. Preliminary design review, detailed design reviews);

Creation the validation and verification with test specifications for the sub-systems;

Executing the validation with the supplier and the bt team on the vehicle;

Field support & analysis of faults and problems.

Diploma/Master in electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent;

Experience in working as part of a team of engineers in the development of complex transportation products, such as rolling stock, aerospace or automotive;

At least 5 years previous knowledge & experience of rolling stock or Transportation is required;

PC literate Microsoft Office & Lotus Notes packages;

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of an international team;

Fluent English language (writing and reading) is a must, German is beneficial;

High degree of flexibility and innovation capability under challenging conditions.
