Key responsibilities
  • Effectively leading a team in planning, managing and executing Audit engagements, within a risk based environment efficiently and effectively;
  • Acting as a role model and mentor for less experienced members of the team providing on the job training and developing, through evaluation and counseling, talented team members
  • Developing effective business relationships with clients in order to identify, package and sell business solutions that help our clients grow and become more successful
  • Defining project structure and assessing and assuring proper resource allocation
  • Delivering projects on-time and on-budget
  • Identifying and effectively dealing with risks, project extensions, etc.
  • Maintaining high quality and professional standards
  • Innovation in creating potential new service lines for assurance, and working with the wider team to implement same;
  • Flexibility to work cross border between the countries on Audit engagements and where appropriate, to be able to effectively work in cross functional teams (for example, consulting, financial advisory services) in different countries where your skills and industry experience are most appropriate.
Requirements
  • Professional Certification - undergraduate or master's degree. Full membership of an internationally recognized professional accounting association (ACA, ACCA or CPA) and/or an auditor's license;
  • FSI (Financial Services Industry) background;
  • International Financial Reporting Standards literate;
  • Proven leadership and management skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is the business language) and ability to make effective presentations to top client management;
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial flair, drive and sales ability;
  • IT skills such as advanced use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages are required.
